Ararat Retirement Village secure their energy future with large solar install.

Having worked with the client over various projects in recent years we were asked to quote installing a solar system and were successful in being awarded the contract based on their trust with our company. The project scope includes a Sungrow 110KW inverter to allow for further solar panel additions.

We are proud to have been awarded this sizeable commercial solar panel installation for an Ararat Retirement Village.

This 100kW solar project is now around 3/4 complete and starting to take shape.

Some detail about the system:

We provided design, supply, installation and commissioning of 99.88 kW solar system:

• Sungrow 110CX‑P2 Inverter and Three‑phase Smart Energy Meter with CTs
• 227 × Suntech STP440S‑H48‑Nth+ 440 W panels on tiled roof with Schletter mounting system
• Sungrow Energy Production & Consumption Monitoring via iSolarCloud App (10‑year limited inverter warranty)
• Solar system with WiFi connectivity (requires reliable internet for diagnostics, updates, monitoring, Victorian Back Stop Mechanism & Feed‑in Tariff eligibility)
• Sub Mains, Solar Distribution Board & Main Breaker
• Certificate of Electrical Safety and Powercor Grid Connection Administration
• Fall prevention safety systems
